Good crowd, good music playing, cheap drinks. All day, every day they have $3 Yuengling and a $4 mixed drink (usually vodka tonic), and they also have a few fancy cocktails and good beer on tap...

1. 4th Avenue Pub

Neighborhood: Brooklyn/Gowanus

the little slice of heaven known as the 4Th Avenue pub.  They have a great selection of beer on the tap. The owner/ bartender is very sweet and when it's not wall to wall he'll have a nice conversation...

2. Spuyten Duyvil

Neighborhood: Brooklyn/Williamsburg - South Side

enjoy.  The bartenders are all really helpful and knowledgeable, though on busy nights they are not as apt to converse as on a nice Monday or Tuesday....

3. Boulevard Tavern

Neighborhood: Brooklyn/East Williamsburg

the boulevard is a great spot!   the bartenders are super nice, drink specials are good here. for those of you interested, you can purchase cigs at the bar. the back courtyard area is really nice...

4. Iggy's Keltic Lounge

Neighborhood: Manhattan/Lower East Side

coming here before 9pm.  The bartender was a real nice guy, and the crowd just overall seems pretty relaxed....

5. Black Sheep Pub

I really like this place.  It's cozy and laid back and there were no annoying people at all.   Our bartender was pretty nice and when we ordered our 2nd round of drinks, he actually delivered...
